Kampus Konnect Terms of Use

Kampus Konnect is more than an app—it’s a lifestyle tool for college students navigating their social and professional paths. Whether seeking a meaningful relationship, making new friends, finding a study buddy, or expanding career prospects, K2 is where it all begins. By combining dating, networking, and event engagement, it transforms the college experience into one of connection, collaboration, and personal growth.
1. California Subscriber Cancellation Rights
California subscribers may cancel their subscription, without penalty or obligation, at any time prior to midnight of the third business day following the date you subscribed. If you subscribed using an External Service (e.g., Apple ID, Google Play), you must cancel through your External Service. If you subscribed through your Apple ID, refunds are handled by Apple, not Kampus Konnect, and other users may request a refund by contacting Kampus Konnect Customer Service or by mailing or delivering a signed and dated notice that states that you, the buyer, are canceling this agreement. 2. Arbitration, Jury Trial Waiver & Class Action Waiver
You should note that Section 14 contains provisions governing how claims that you and Kampus Konnect have against each other are resolved. It contains an arbitration agreement that will, with limited exceptions, require disputes between us to be submitted to binding and final arbitration.
You have a right to opt out of the arbitration agreement pursuant to Section 14 below. If you do not opt out… you will only be permitted to pursue claims and seek relief against us on an individual basis only, and you are waiving your right to seek relief in a court of law and to have a jury trial on your claims.
With limited exceptions, all claims must be resolved through individual arbitration. You may also have the ability to file a claim in small claims court.
Updates to Kampus Konnect’s Terms do not provide a new opportunity to opt out of arbitration if you previously agreed to a prior version containing an arbitration provision and did not validly opt out.
3. Eligibility Requirements
To create an account, you must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your home country if greater than 18. You must be an individual (not a business entity) and must not have committed, been convicted of, or pled no contest to a felony, a sex crime, or any crime involving violence or threats of violence, unless you have received clemency for a non-violent crime and Kampus Konnect has determined you are not a threat to other users.
You must not be required to register as a sex offender with any federal, state, or local registry. You must not have more than one account and must not have been previously removed without express written permission.
4. Underage Users & Monitoring
To use our service, you must be at least 18 years old… we monitor for underage use and we will terminate, suspend, or ask you to verify your account if we have reason to believe that you may be underage.”
5. User Conduct & Prohibited Activity
You may not misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliations; use the Services in a way that interferes with, disrupts, or negatively affects the platform; use our Services for any harmful, illegal, or nefarious purpose; harass, bully, stalk, intimidate, assault, defame, harm, or otherwise abuse or cause psychological harm; post or share Prohibited Content; solicit money or other items of value from users; or upload viruses or malicious code.” “Your treatment of others outside the Kampus Konnect app can also result in action against your account.
6. User Content & Ownership
You are solely responsible and liable for Your Content, and you agree to indemnify, defend, release, and hold us harmless from any claims made in connection with Your Content.
Your Content must comply with the Community Guidelines, and you may not upload any content that infringes upon third-party rights, includes the image or likeness of another person without consent, or contains personal contact or financial information.
Kampus Konnect grants you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use our Services, and this license is automatically revoked if you fail to comply with these Terms.
7. Actions We May Take Against Your Account
If you behave in a way that goes against the Community Guidelines, values, or otherwise act in any way we believe to be potentially harmful, we may remove your content, issue a warning, ban you from some or all Kampus Konnect apps, or cooperate with law enforcement.
If you are terminated, all provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect, including arbitration, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
8. Subscription Renewals, Payments & Refunds
If you subscribe to a service for a term, your subscription will automatically renew for additional periods at Kampus Konnect’s then-current fee unless canceled.
Kampus Konnect is not required to provide a refund for any reason, and you will not receive money or compensation for unused Virtual Items when an account is closed, whether voluntary or involuntary.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription; you must manage subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play.
9. Virtual Items, Installment Plans, & Financial Terms
You acknowledge that Kampus Konnect is not required to provide a refund for unused Virtual Items. Virtual Items have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money.
If you agree to make a purchase pursuant to an installment plan, you authorize Kampus Konnect to charge your payment method on a periodic basis, and Kampus Konnect reserves the right to suspend or terminate your subscription if payments fail.
10. Safety & Reporting
Safety is a top priority at Kampus Konnect. We use a combination of human moderators and automated systems to monitor and review accounts and interactions for content that may violate the Terms.
If anything makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, we encourage you to Unmatch or Block & Report the member.” “We may cooperate with law enforcement in potential criminal investigations.
11. DMCA / Copyright Reporting
Takedown notices should be sent to Kampus Konnect’s Copyright Agent at contact@KampusKonnect.com, including a statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
12. Third-Party Store Terms
Kampus Konnect, LLC, not the Third-Party Store provider, is solely responsible for the App and its content. The Third-Party Store provider has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.” “The Third-Party Store and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.
We are not responsible for third-party goods or services you obtain through a Third-Party Store.
13. Governing Law, Venue & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, U.S.A., without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any claims arising out of or relating to this Agreement that are not required to be arbitrated will be litigated exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Cobb County, Georgia.
You consent to personal jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum.
14. Global Data Transfer
By using the App, you agree and acknowledge that Kampus Konnect is a global app operating through servers located in a number of countries around the world, including the United States… your personal information may not provide the same protections as in your country of residence.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify, amend, or change the Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date. Your continued use of Kampus Konnect following any Change constitutes your acceptance of the Change.
16. Special State Terms
Special terms apply in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin.
Subscribers residing in New York may place their subscription on hold for up to one year.
Subscribers residing in several states may cancel their subscription without penalty or obligation at any time prior to midnight of the third business day following the date they subscribed.
